Spring has officially sprung! The weather in NYC right now is the best because it’s still warm outside without the horrible and inescapable humidity we get during the summer months.
This spring outfit is very different than what I’d normally wear because as you may have already noted… I’m not wearing all black. I know, I’m just as shocked myself. Half the reason why I still feel comfortable in this look even though it’s lacking any black is because this yellow crochet dress from J. Mendel’s latest collection is so beautifully designed. The details on it are amazing. And to be honest, I don’t think I own anything yellow in my closet other than this dress. I paired it with my favorite Yeah Bunny “Don’t Follow me I’m Lost Too” denim jacket and my new Sam Edelman Abbie sandal heels.
I’m now headed for some “me” time at my favorite spa in the city before heading to Florida tomorrow for a much needed family vacation. I need to get my skin prepped before stepping out in the warm coastal beaches of Clearwater, FL. Can’t wait to finally get a nice tan including that amazing glow a little time in the sun gives you. I swear that it’s the best accessory to any outfit! After moving to NYC last year I barely get to see my family so some fun in the sun together will be a perfect way to relax from the crazy life I live here in New York City.
Furthermore, I’m also shooting several project while in Florida because I’m a workaholic and can’t ever escape “work” because I simply love what I do. So make sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat as I’ll show you all of the fun summer and beach looks I’m shooting. Hoping that all of the time I’ve spent at the gym this year will finally pay off… or at least I hope it will even though I haven’t been able to stop eating chips with sriracha hummus and eggs benedict because they both taste like heaven.
